Good to know
- What the numbers look like: a plain number (1, 2, 3...) in small type at the bottom center of each selected page. Position and style can't be changed at the moment.
- Rotated pages are numbered so the number reads the right way up.
- Basic limits: one PDF per job, up to 25 MB and 200 pages.
- Password-protected PDFs aren't supported. Upload an unlocked copy.
- Signed PDFs: you get an editable copy. Visible signature marks stay, but digital signatures don't carry over.
- Privacy: your PDF is sent to PearSign's servers to add the numbers. The result is available for one hour, and you can delete it sooner.
- Account: numbering and previewing are free. Downloading needs a PearSign account (5 jobs per hour with the basic allowance).
- New accounts: signup directs you to a card-required 7-day Starter trial checkout. See pricing and trial terms. The one-hour result window continues during checkout and email verification; if it expires, upload your file again.
